The heart of the San Roque Club is golf; golfers can choose between the demanding par 72 of The Old Course, the original course designed by Dave Thomas, that winds through cork oak forests with superb mountain views – or The New Course, completed in 2003, created by legendary American course designer Perry Dye. Both courses provide beautiful and challenging holes for players of all handicaps.

The New Course
The new world class course – 6626 metres from the championship tees – aims to complement The Old Course, while presenting a very different challenge.

The designs, by the renowned American course designer Perry Dye, incorporate the contours of the San Roque hills, giving golfers wonderful views to the Guadalquiton River and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. The idea was to create a new course that is a challenge for scratch and low handicap golfers but that is also possible for higher handicap players to enjoy.

The San Roque Club offers all the facilities you’d expect of the finest and most exclusive meeting place on the Costa del Sol. The two contrasting golf courses are as challenging as they are beautiful and away from the greens, four very different restaurants serve up a stunning array of high-class cuisine, from Japanese to tapas.

The equestrian centre’s top class facilities appeal to everyone from novices to experts, and if a more relaxing visit appeals, the terraces, the heated pool or beauty and therapeutic treatments are among the facilities members enjoy, while the meeting and conference rooms make this a perfect place to get down to business in a calming environment. Then there are the tennis and paddle courts, the Pro shop and gatherings like the club’s Summer Event, one of southern Spain’s social highlights of the year.
